At our October Zoom social mixer, the conversation focused on new Paubox product releases, AI adoption in healthcare IT, and end-user security awareness challenges.
What happened:

Our takeaways:
-
Paubox launched several new features this month, including Behavioral Geofencing for inbound email security, a new Block category in quarantine stats, a Promotional email category, DLP AI Chat, DLP Observe, and Security Awareness Training, giving admins more visibility and control than ever.
- One attendee reported 2,300 emails blocked since enabling the new Block category with no manual sorting required, while another confirmed zero false positives from Behavioral Geofencing.
- DLP Observe, an opt-in behavioral monitoring feature that tracks outbound email across six categories without blocking, generated strong interest.
- One attendee enabling it in monitor mode discovered 50–60 gift card-related emails and significant volumes of outbound patient data daily, calling the visibility "very enlightening.
- Paubox's new Security Awareness Training add-on drew wide interest as a cost-effective alternative to KnowBe4, with Paubox pricing it at roughly half the cost. Several attendees requested demos.
- Paubox Forms use cases included encrypted data collection for remote contracted nurses, new hire onboarding document uploads, and routing form submissions to ticketing systems to auto-generate support tickets.
- AI adoption was a major theme. One attendee built a custom AI-powered ticketing, equipment audit, and knowledge base system on Google Cloud using Gemini.
- ExecProtect was credited by multiple attendees with catching executive impersonation and fraudulent invoice emails
The bottom line: Customers count on Paubox to help keep their emails HIPAA compliant and save time managing inbound email security challenges.
