Each month we share a mix of UI updates, bug fixes, and new features shipped across the Paubox platform. Have a suggestion? Let your account manager know.

All settings in one place

All Paubox product settings now live on a single page, organized by tab. Whether you're adjusting inbound security rules, managing API keys, or configuring your DLP policy, everything is in one location instead of spread across separate product areas.

  • All product settings are now on a single Settings page, with tabs for Account, API Keys, Data Loss Prevention, DKIM, Email API, Inbound Security, Marketing, and Outbound Security.
  • Each tab has its own URL (for example, /settings/dlp), so you can bookmark or share a direct link to any settings area.
  • Previous per-product settings pages redirect automatically to the new location.
  • The new API Keys tab brings sender domain management together with API key creation, renaming, and revocation in one view.

Conditional fields and a redesigned form builder in Paubox Forms

Paubox Forms now supports conditional logic, so you can show or hide fields based on how someone answers a previous question. The form builder was redesigned at the same time, with a cleaner interface that matches the rest of the Paubox platform.

  • Show or hide any field based on a dropdown or single-choice answer. For example, reveal a text field asking for more detail only when a respondent selects "Other."
  • Hidden fields are excluded from submissions automatically, so the response record only includes what the respondent filled in.
  • The builder features a compact toolbar, a searchable element library, and click-or-drag field placement.
  • Edit field labels and the form name directly on the canvas, without opening a separate dialog.
  • Full light and dark mode support; the form preview always renders as a clean white sheet.
  • The Settings view uses a card-based layout, and the Submissions table scrolls cleanly for denser data.
  • Form submission notification emails were redesigned with a two-row field/answer layout and submission timestamps. The sender name now reads "[Company Name] Forms," making it immediately clear which organization sent the submission alert.
  • The "View Submission" link in notification emails takes recipients straight to the submissions page when they are already signed in.

Manage email templates from the Paubox Email API dashboard

Paubox Email API customers can now create, browse, and manage dynamic email templates directly from the admin dashboard, without making API calls just to set up or update a template.

  • Build a template in the app by giving it a name and an HTML body. No file upload needed.
  • Variable chips appear as you type, tracking every in the template body.
  • Browse a gallery of prebuilt templates organized by category (Healthcare, Events & Scheduling, Onboarding, Account & Security, Billing) with a live preview rendered with sample data before you commit.
  • Select "Use this template" to drop the name and full HTML body into the New Template form for any final edits before saving.
  • Manage all templates in a sortable, searchable table with edit, duplicate, and delete options.
  • Templates created in the dashboard work immediately with your existing API calls.

Export archived email in Outlook format

Mail Archive customers can now download archived email in PST format, for direct import into Microsoft Outlook and compatible systems.

  • Select PST as your format when confirming an archive export.
  • The export converts as many records as possible to PST. Any items that cannot be converted due to formatting issues are bundled separately in a ZIP file as an additional download.

Additional updates by product

Account administration

  • The setup wizard now detects your email provider automatically from your domain's MX records (no manual selection required), generates a complete SPF record that merges with any existing record, and provides a correctly formatted DKIM value ready to publish.
  • Paginated tables now show navigation controls at both the top and bottom of the list, with configurable page sizes of 50, 100, or 150 records.
  • Table column sort order and column widths now persist across page navigation and refreshes, so your preferred view is ready each time.
  • Stats pages for Inbound, Outbound, Email API, and Partner Dashboard now feature clickable, filterable graphs.
  • Historical referrals that predate the current billing system now appear on your Referrals page.

Inbound email security

  • QR code scanning for malicious links in inbound email now covers BMP, TIFF, WebP, and GIF image formats, in addition to PNG and JPEG.
  • Improved spam detection accuracy.

Email API

  • Developer documentation now includes a dedicated Attachments page accessible from the left navigation, for faster reference on sending attachments via the API.

Bug fixes

  • Fixed a critical issue where emails released from quarantine were marked as delivered in the mail log but were not reaching recipients' inboxes.
  • Fixed quarantine search so filtering by sender address (From) returns accurate results.
  • Fixed ExecProtect+ and DLP alert notification emails that had stopped sending.
  • Fixed mail log entries that were missing from the UI for some accounts.
  • Fixed a DNS blacklist false positive that was incorrectly flagging legitimate inbound emails.
  • Fixed DLP notification email quarantine links that were prompting users to sign in again even when already authenticated.
  • Fixed an issue in Paubox Forms where multiple Single Choice fields on the same form were controlling each other's selection.
  • Fixed a quarantine release issue where extra whitespace in IP address matching caused some releases to fail silently.
  • Dark Mode fixes for the sign-in page; fixed a stuttering animation in the sidebar navigation.
