We're pleased to announce the 2026 class of Paubox Kahikina Scholarship recipients.

What's happening:

  • 17 Native Hawaiians were selected for the 2025 cohort of the Paubox Kahikina Scholarship.

The scholarship:

  • The mission of the Paubox Kahikina Scholarship is to encourage Native Hawaiians to pursue careers in STEM or technology in general.
  • The scholarship is recurring in nature. In other words, recipients receive $1,000 per year until they graduate.

Scholarship requirements:

  • Native Hawaiian
  • Pursuing a STEM-related major or technology in general
  • Enrolled in an accredited college or university
  • Annually publish content on your college journey

  • Now in its eighth year, the Paubox Kahikina Scholarship has awarded scholarships to 78 recipients, totaling over $142,000 to date.

Notable metrics:

  • The scholarship began with one recipient in 2019.
  • Awardees graduated from high schools in Hawaiʻi, California, and Nevada.
