Paubox Forms can now be embedded and integrated via API

Paubox Forms can now be embedded into any website or app, and submissions can be sent programmatically from any system. Two new API endpoints make this possible. Submissions still flow through Paubox's secure, HIPAA compliant pipeline.

What's happening

Customers asked for more control over where their Paubox Forms live. Until now, Paubox Forms had to be hosted on a Paubox page. A growing number of customers wanted intake forms inside their own website, styled to match the rest of their brand experience.

For example, suppose a multi-location dermatology group runs a marketing website where new patients land before booking. They want the new-patient intake form to live directly on the site, styled to match the rest of their pages, with submissions landing securely in their Paubox account. With these endpoints, their developer can pull the form's structure from Paubox, render it inside the website with the practice's own styling, and post submissions back to Paubox.

How it works

Two public endpoints make this possible:

  • A GET endpoint returns the form's full definition: HTML, JSON schema, and CSS. Developers can render the form as-is or restyle it to match their brand.

  • A POST endpoint accepts form responses with a maximum request size of 250 MB, large enough to include typical file attachments. Submissions are stored in your Paubox account, notifications fire as configured, and signable forms continue to support signature workflows.

AI agents can read and submit forms

These endpoints make Paubox Forms accessible to AI agents. An agent can pull a form's structure, present it to a user, and submit responses back to Paubox. Every submission stays inside Paubox's HIPAA compliant pipeline, the same as any other form response.

Included with Paubox Forms

Paubox Forms is available on all paid Paubox plans. The API endpoints are included at no additional cost. There is nothing to enable; the endpoints are live for every form in your account. This builds on recent updates to Paubox Forms that expanded what customers can do with the product.

Why this matters

Customer feedback is part of the Paubox Foundations. Customers wanted Paubox forms to live inside their own websites. We built it.
