Day two at HIMSS had a familiar rhythm — busy booth, good energy, and the kind of conversations that only happen when people have had a day to settle in. HIMSS 2026 is the world's largest healthcare IT conference, running March 9–12 at the Venetian Convention & Expo Center in Las Vegas. It brings together over 25,000 healthcare professionals from 88 countries — CIOs, CTOs, clinicians, policymakers, and innovators — to explore the technologies reshaping how care is delivered.

Highlights of Day 2:

• Highlight #1: Another steady day at the booth with great conversations and plenty of new faces stopping by.
• Highlight #2: The flashing sunglasses supply is holding up. Barely.

Day 2 Takeaways:

• Mental health is a technology problem now too. Sessions on youth mental healthcare access and veteran suicide prevention made clear that behavioral health can't scale without better digital infrastructure.
