We're pleased to announce PDF import for Paubox Forms. Upload a fillable PDF (AcroForm) and we'll convert it into a HIPAA compliant online form, fields and all.
How does it work?
Login to the Paubox Dashboard, then click Paubox Forms. Next, click the Import from PDF button. Choose the PDF from your computer, then click Open. The import process uses AI to detect and assign field mappings for your form.
Are there caveats?
As of today, the PDF import feature only supports PDF forms with fillable fields, or AcroForms.
Are there bonuses?
Yes, there is a secretbonus. By using the Paubox MCP Server, you can even import PDFs via Claude Chat. Once you connect our MCP server to Claude, Claude will import any fillable PDF form you attach as a Paubox Form.
When you create an API key in the Paubox Dashboard, make sure to grant it Paubox Forms access.

Paubox Forms is free for any paid customer account.
