Honolulu Tech Week: Paubox fireside chat

After attending a meeting at the Waialae Country Club for the upcoming Sony Open, I hosted a fireside chat with three of our customers for Honolulu Tech Week. 

What's happening: Gavin Steele (ALTRES), Daryle Ann Ho (Malama Ola Health Services), and Beau Monday (Punahou School) joined me for a panel called, "Paubox Foundations: A Customer Focused Approach to Building New Technology."

Honolulu has a tech week?: The inaugural Honolulu Tech Week is a week of events hosted across the city by the companies, people, and organizations connected to its tech ecosystem. We're happy to be a founding sponsor.

My takeaways:

• Gavin Steele emphasized how important compliance is to ALTRES and their business model
• Daryle Ann Ho really enjoys how frictionless Paubox is to use for her 90 employees
• Beau Monday feels there's a special bond between companies with Hawaii roots and the customers they serve. 
• I shared a story with the audience about how I built the first version of Paubox by pulling an all-niter at a cafe on Piʻikoi Street.
