The deadline to apply for the 2023 Paubox Kahikina Scholarship is Wednesday, May 31st.
The application window for the 2024 Paubox Kahikina STEM Scholarship is now open.
The deadline to apply is May 31st (Friday).
What's happening: Launched in 2019, the scholarship originally targeted Native Hawaiians pursuing degrees in computer science. In 2021, we expanded its scope to include all STEM majors. Now in 2024, we've broadened it again to include both STEM or Tech in general.
About the scholarship: The primary objective of the Paubox Kahikina Scholarship is to encourage Native Hawaiians to pursue careers in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) or Tech in general.
The scholarship is recurring in nature. In other words, recipients receive $1,000 per year until they graduate.
Corporate Sponsor: The Mana Ka ʻIke Bruce Ohana Foundation is the scholarship's first sponsor.
The bottom line: The big ideas behind the scholarship are financial aid and access to our network. We look forward to continuing to provide both.
