Haney is a computer scientist and lead for the Visualization and Usability Group at the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). Previously she worked for 20 years at the Department of Defense as a security professional and technical leader. Haney and the Usable Cybersecurity team research human aspects of cybersecurity and privacy and the usability and adoption of security solutions.
