Paubox Transcription: Automatically transcribe audio attachments

We are pleased to announce we have released Paubox Transcription to automatically transcribe audio attachments in email.

What's happening:

•  Customers asked us to build a secure transcription solution for their corporate voicemail attachments.
•  Their concerns lay with the potential of end users opening these attachments in public on their smartphones.

How does it work?:

• Paubox Transcription automatically transcribes any audio file attachment in inbound email.
• The transcribed text is appended to the bottom of the message with the note: Powered by Paubox Transcription:

  • .ogg
  • .m4a
  • .mp3
  • .mpeg
  • .wav

How do I get it?:

• Paubox Transcription is available at no additional cost for existing Paubox Email Suite Plus and Premium customers.
• New customers can start for free here.

How do I enable it?:

• In the Paubox Dashboard, click Inbound Security, then Settings.
• Flip the Paubox Transcription toggle to On.

• Yes, Paubox Transcription is covered under our HITRUST r2 certification letter.
