Grabbing a bite at City Counter in San Francisco

Last week I stopped by City Counter to catch up with my friend Robby Huang. Robby is also an investor in Paubox, so it was good to catch him up on new developments like  Paubox Suite Plus. On his recommendation, I got the salt and vinegar popcorn, artichoke dip & toast, and a glass of red.

A few minutes after we sat down, Patrick Flynn joined us. Pat is Robby's buddy from grad school and now works at Salesforce as its Director of Sustainability. We traded notes on our respective V2MOMs =)

Harper Matheson, founder of City Counter, checked in on us with style for miles. She brought a libation cart our way and made sure we were accommodated. Robby and Harper are business partners at City Counter.

City Counter is a modern luncheonette inspired by the classic Woolworth's lunch counters. I can't remember what the Woolworth lunch counter felt like but I'm pretty sure it means bright and retro-chic. City Counter serves modern luncheonette fare along with beer, wine & happy hour deals. The tuna melt is legit!
