Mobile-friendly Secure Message Center

Recipients increasingly open secure messages on their phones, so the Secure Message Center now adapts to mobile screens. The authentication, message viewing, and reply experiences all work cleanly on smaller devices.

  • Mobile-friendly layouts across all multi-factor authentication flows.
  • Mobile-friendly message viewing and reply experience.

Revamped referral program

Paubox refreshed how customers share and track referrals, with cleaner links and a smoother sign-up experience for the people they refer.

  • Referral links now use a human-readable name instead of a tracking code.
  • The referral page in the dashboard was cleaned up.
  • A referral banner now appears throughout the sign-up flow, and the referral discount is reflected in pricing during sign-up.
  • Older referral links continue to work.

Rebuilt sign-up and partner onboarding

Paubox rebuilt its sign-up and product flows to close data-capture gaps and fix a range of partner issues, making self-service onboarding more reliable.

  • Partner self-service sign-up and client creation and administration now work as expected.
  • Partners can again add products to their own accounts.
  • Saved payment methods can be reused during product flows, with the option to enter new details.
  • Signing out now fully clears the previous account's data, preventing stray navigation links or admin controls from appearing.
  • Broad interface cleanup replacing legacy components with the latest versions.

Consistent filtering across mail logs, quarantine, and statistics

A series of updates brought consistent, easier-to-use filters to the mail logs, quarantine, and statistics pages across inbound, outbound, and the Email API.

  • Category filter drop-downs added across mail log and quarantine pages, replacing the old category columns.
  • Status drop-down filters added to inbound, outbound, and Email API mail logs.
  • Date range and domain filters made consistent across statistics, quarantine, mail logs, and action history, with end-of-day handling now respecting each user's profile.
  • Pagination improved: tables default to 50 rows, and when results are under 10,000 items you can jump directly to a specific page.

Additional updates by product

Outbound email security

  • Raised the outbound email size limit from 50MB to 150MB, including Salesforce relay, so customers can send larger attachments.
  • New subject-line trigger for the Secure Message Center: admins can enable a toggle so that adding a keyword to the subject line sends a message securely. Secure message authentication preferences also moved to a new Settings tab under Outbound Security.
  • The Senders page now includes a domain filter and CSV download.

Paubox Forms

  • The maximum size for a single uploaded file increased from 10 MB to 150 MB.
  • The total size of all files in one submission increased from 25 MB to 150 MB.
  • Large uploads now have more time to finish, so bigger files send reliably.

Mail Archive

  • Significant performance improvements to Mail Archive queries, with some searches dropping from minutes to seconds.

DLP

  • New setting to enable or disable the DLP notification sent to the original sender.

Inbound email security

  • Quarantine reports now include a direct link that takes the user straight to the inbound quarantine page.

Bug fixes

  • Fixed a security issue in the two-factor authentication flow.
  • Fixed a Secure Message Center issue where domain logos could display incorrectly because of a caching problem.
  • Fixed custom footers so they work correctly alongside the updated referral logic.
  • Fixed voicemail transcription reporting that could show an inflated total-minutes-transcribed figure.
  • Fixed outbound mail flow so a message already sent as a secure message isn't wrapped as a secure message again.
  • Fixed a permissions bug that caused the Inbound Settings page to reload endlessly.
