Day 3 at HIMSS 2023: AI, cybersecurity, and baseball

Day 3 at the HIMSS 2023 conference in Chicago kicked off with a thought-provoking Breakfast Briefing. Hoala Greevy, founder and CEO of Paubox, and Rick Kuwahara, COO of Paubox, hosted a session titled "The Paubox Turing Test: Is that email real or has AI already become self-aware?" 

The talk was a massive success despite the very early start, drawing a full house of attendees eager to learn more about the implications of AI in cybersecurity.

The talk highlighted the growing sophistication of AI-based phishing attempts and how easily people can be fooled by them. In a demonstration, over 50% of attendees failed to distinguish between real emails and AI-generated phishing attempts. This emphasized the need for robust cybersecurity solutions like Paubox ExecProtect, which provides an essential layer of protection for healthcare organizations.

As the day progressed, the Paubox booth buzzed with excitement. Conversations flourished, and over 700 pairs of Paubox light-up sunglasses were handed out to attendees. The team had a fantastic time connecting with industry peers and sharing insights about the evolving landscape of healthcare cybersecurity.

After a day of engaging discussions and networking, the Paubox team headed to Wrigley Field to catch the Cubs vs. Dodgers game. Hoala caught a fly ball, and James Outman hit his first career grand slam to give the Dodgers the lead in the top of the 9th!
