I attended the 10X CEO Accelerate 2025 Welcome Reception this afternoon in Manhattan.
What's happening: The 10X CEO program hosts a conference every two years. This is my first one.
My biggest takeaway: When I asked attendees whether they view Gen AI as a threat or an opportunity, the overwhelming feedback was opportunity.
Why it's important: The job of CEO is lonely at times. In addition, what is it that I don't know? It's probably a lot.
I should therefore seek ways to level up as a CEO. For me, being a part of 10X CEO is a step in that direction.

Must be an important event if someone from Hawaii flashes the double shaka

I got to meet Janine Dukes (Director of Operations, 10X CEO) and Meg Scales (Director of Coach & Member Development, 10X CEO) in-person for the first time. Also note the impeccable arrangement of name badges.
