AI Industry Dinner in Honolulu with Paubox and Malama Ola Health Services

Written by Hoala Greevy | August 22, 2025

Last night, we co-hosted an AI industry dinner in Honolulu with professionals, entrepreneurs, and executives from healthcare, finance, and insurance.

What's happening:

Overheard in the room (sans attribution):

  • One attendee saved their organization $250,000 in a year by adopting AI
  • "Conservative," "cautious," or "none" emerged as themes in the group’s discussion of AI adoption in healthcare.
  • People weren’t really tuned in to vibe coding or MCP servers
  • Unauthorized AI note taking services popping up on Zoom and Teams meetings were a pressing topic

The bottom line:

  • No one wants to get left behind in this latest iteration of Generative AI. We're here to bring people together to prevent that from happening.
