Industry Dinner with Paubox and Steel Patriot Partners (San Francisco)

Written by Hoala Greevy | July 17, 2025

Last night we co-hosted an industry dinner with IT professionals in San Francisco.

What's happening:

  • Together with Steel Patriot Partners, we hosted a private dinner with 16 guests at The Vault Steakhouse.
  •  Healthcare CEOs, security experts, finance executives, and entrepreneurs attended.
  • We discussed how AI tools are shaping the future of healthcare, how automation can reduce the cost of compliance, and how to define the ROI of AI, compliance tools, and attestations.

Overheard in the room (sans attribution):

  • Re: AI automation: “You can’t automate what’s not stable.”
  • Measuring success of internal AI automation efforts:
    • Revenue per employee
    • "Have they stopped doing that task?"
  • No one had a BAA for ChatGPT
  • Attendees are having success with Glean, Clay, Cursor, and NotebookLM.

The bottom line:

  • Getting people together to learn and network. That's what it's about. That's what we'll keep doing.
