Industry Dinner in Nashville with Paubox and Steel Patriot Partners

Written by Hoala Greevy | July 31, 2025

Last night we co-hosted an industry dinner with healthcare IT professionals in Nashville.

What's happening:

  • Together with Steel Patriot Partners, we hosted a private dinner with 16 guests at Urban Grub.
  • We discussed MCP servers and their role in AI deployments; AI governance; social determinants of health for AI; and the best places to put up a billboard in Nashville.

Vladimir Svidesskis: AI governance

  • Vladimir Svidesskis (Director, Security, Compliance and Risk, Highspring) shared talking points from a recent presentation on AI Governance

Overheard in the room (sans attribution):

  • “Security is a business of trust."
  • Re: AI: "People are very nervous about getting behind. If you’re behind, you’re never gonna catch up."
  • No one had a BAA with OpenAI
  • The GTIA conference in Nashville was recommended
  • Re: private dinners: "This is my preferred way to network and do business.”

The bottom line:

  • Getting people together to learn and network. That's what it's about. That's what we'll keep doing.
