James Plouffe Confirmed to Speak at Paubox SECURE

Thanks to more people accessing healthcare data from their phones, the number of endpoints with data moving back and forth in the cloud has never been greater.

This is known as the vanishing security perimeter, and James Plouffe is at the forefront of developing the infrastructure that can help against attacks in this new security ecosystem.

We are pleased to announce that James will be a keynote speaker at our upcoming virtual conference, Paubox SECURE @ Home, taking place on October 21-22.

About James Plouffe

With 20 years of experience in IT and security, James’ current role at ATTACKIQ involves developing strategic technology integration solutions with the goal of helping companies improve their capabilities through the use of the MITRE ATT&CK Framework.

His previous experience includes seven years as a strategic technologist and lead solutions architect at mobile and cloud security company MobileIron, as well as a decade as a network and security architect responsible for the LAN, WAN, and perimeter security infrastructure.

James also served as a technical consultant for seasons 1 – 3 of the award-winning “hacker” drama Mr. Robot, where he used his technical expertise to provide writers with real-world examples and situations of how the attacks portrayed in the show would unfold in reality.

We are happy to have James come on board as a keynote speaker at our upcoming virtual conference. Thanks to his extensive knowledge of the current state of enterprise security, attendees will get a better idea of what it takes to maintain security in an environment where access to data from any device is critical to an organization’s success.

His keynote presentation will discuss embracing a Zero Trust framework in the healthcare industry.

Zero Trust is a mobile-centric security concept that centers around device validation, app authorization, and network verification before a network connection is granted. All of this helps with endpoint verification so your organization can remain secure from outside attackers while maintaining HIPAA compliance.

During his presentation, James will focus on how small and medium-sized companies can embrace this Zero Trust framework through user and device identity and the network gateway.

From this presentation, viewers will be able to understand how they can approach security in a decentralized digital environment that includes data flowing from various endpoints including mobile, IoT, and app-based healthcare solutions.
