Hawaii Chamber of Commerce of Northern California 2025 Gala

Written by Hoala Greevy | May 27, 2025

On Friday my wife Lisa and I attended the Hawaii Chamber of Commerce of Northern California (HCCNC) gala in San Francisco.

As we've done since 2017, Paubox sponsored at a table at the sold out event.

What's happening: HCCNC honored three masters of hula who teach the art form and pass on Hawaiian cultural wisdom in Northern California. They were:

  • Kumu Hula Shawna Alapa‘i
  • Kumu Hula Kawika Keikiali‘i Alfiche
  • Kumu Hula Mark Keali‘i Ho‘omalu

About HCCNC: As per their website, the mission of HCCNC is to serve as a bridge, connecting Hawai‘i expatriates in Northern California.

While having fun and building friendships are also important objectives, HCCNC is much more than a social club. Their primary goal is to help advance careers or business through relevant seminars, speakers and networking events.
