We're pleased to announce the 2025 class of Paubox Kahikina Scholarship recipients.
What's happening:
- 17 Native Hawaiians were selected for the 2025 cohort of the Paubox Kahikina Scholarship.
The scholarship:
- The mission of the Paubox Kahikina Scholarship is to encourage Native Hawaiians to pursue careers in STEM or technology in general.
- The scholarship is recurring in nature. In other words, recipients receive $1,000 per year until they graduate.
Scholarship requirements:
- Native Hawaiian
- Pursuing a STEM-related major or technology in general
- Enrolled in an accredited college or university
- Annually publish content on your college journey

- Aysha Berry. Kauaʻi High School graduate, attending college on the mainland

- Caleb Takiguchi. Kamehameha Schools Kapālama graduate, attending Cornell University
- Chancen Law. Kamehameha Schools Kapālama graduate, attending Harvard University

- Now in its seventh year, the Paubox Kahikina Scholarship has awarded scholarships to 62 recipients, totaling over $100,000 to date.
Notable metrics:
- This year’s class of 17 recipients is the largest to date.
- Awardees graduated from high schools in Hawaiʻi, Nevada, and Texas.
